To be able to use them in a proper manner, a company has to make its presence felt in the forums of such networks. LinkedIn is a good example to have a look at. Through LinkedIn, professionals from all over the world are connected to each other. Presently there are about 47 million users who are using it to further their recruitment process. The forums enable the user to search for jobs in the industry and also allow him/her to find people. Social media has a lot of advantages to offer when it comes to recruitment of employees. It has the gift of speed and is a much more cost effective method. You can reach out to a million people within a matter of seconds and hence have a wide range of options. Recent research has been able to unveil the fact that about 67% of the internet users engage with social media. This is a clear indication of exactly how popular and relevant social media is in today’s world. 34.55% of people in the Asia-Pacific region alone have been trying to tap the massive potential that social media has in store. Social Media has arrived, my friends and there is certainly no denying the fact. Apart from being a wonderful method of pulling prospective employees, it has also succeeded in creating ample amount of jobs. Marketing, web designing, content and such like are the mere instances of the various kinds of openings that one could opt for. Many companies have done well for themselves by effectively utilizing social media. After all, one does have to move with the times.
