Tvm: Defence Pensioners who have not furnished the particulars of their e-mail id and mobile phone number to the Defence Pension Disbursing Office (DPDO), Trivandrum are requested to furnish the same, latest by January 20, 2012, for intimation of their monthly pension entitlements through PCs or Mobiles, according to a release from the Press Information Bureau (Defence Wing).

Private buses in Kerala introduce e-Ticketing system

Kochi: In a landmark initiative, electronic ticketing system was introduced in 100 private buses plying in Kochi on January 08, 2012. State Transport Minister, Shri V S Sivakumar launched the system by issuing an electronic ticket to Hibi Eden MLA, at a function organised in Ernakulam. In the first phase, the e-ticketing system will be introduced in around 1,300 private buses running in Aluva, Perumbavur, Angamaly, Piravom, Muvattupuzha, Paravur and Tripunithura.
